I have always believed that if you create and offer something of value, people will return that value to you tenfold, a hundredfold, and more.

Keep away from those who Try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, But the really great make you believe that you too can become great. MARK TWAIN

The value of Goldilocks was applied retroactively because of all the creative work I have done in the years since then. The work I’ve done as an adult has made the work I’ve done as a teenager, and even as a weird little kid, more valuable. The choices I made later in life made my earlier choices more worthwhile. Choices are cumulative—and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you are able to start actively making choices that may not only improve your future, but can, in some ways, even redeem mistakes made in the past.
